Privacy Policy — Hourloop

Effective date: 13 August 2026 Last updated: 13 August 2026
Русский English 简体中文

This policy explains what data is processed in the mobile game Hourloop (the "Game"), by whom and for what purpose. The Game is distributed through Huawei AppGallery and RuStore.

Developer: NeMedi
Contact: hourloop.support@gmail.com

1. In short

The Game requires no registration, never asks for your name, email, phone number or payment details, and has no servers of its own that your progress would be sent to. All game progress is stored on your device only.

The only data that leaves your device is collected by advertising networks in order to serve ads. Ads are shown only when you choose to watch a rewarded video yourself.

2. What is stored on your device

These files live in the app's internal storage, are never uploaded anywhere, and are removed together with the Game:

What Why
Game progress: in-game currency, purchased and active talents, unlocked abilities, permanent bonuses so progress survives between sessions
Recent run history: outcome, act reached, character stats, upgrades taken to show you statistics of past attempts
Music and sound volume settings so you don't have to set them again
A flag indicating that ads were removed, if such a purchase was made so ads stay off after the purchase

None of this identifies you personally, and the developer has no access to it.

3. What advertising networks collect

The Game uses:

  • Yandex Mobile Ads — in all versions of the Game;
  • Petal Ads (Huawei Ads) — in the Huawei AppGallery version only.

To select and deliver ads, and to prevent fraud, these networks may process:

  • the device advertising identifier (GAID on devices with Google services, OAID on Huawei devices) — a non-permanent identifier you can reset or limit in your device settings;
  • technical device information: model, OS version, language, region, connection type, screen resolution;
  • IP address;
  • ad delivery data: which ads were shown, whether they were watched to the end, whether they were clicked. The Yandex ad SDK reports such technical ad events to the AppMetrica analytics service (owned by Yandex) — this is part of how the ad network itself works; the Game integrates no separate analytics.

The Game's developer does not receive this data and has no access to it — it goes directly to the advertising networks and is processed under their terms:

  • Yandex Privacy Policy: https://yandex.com/legal/confidential/
  • Huawei Privacy Statement: https://consumer.huawei.com/en/privacy/privacy-policy/

Ad personalisation is your choice. On first launch the Game asks whether the advertising networks may use your device advertising identifier to pick more relevant ads:

  • if you agree — the networks may use that data to select ads;
  • if you decline — both networks are told to disable personalisation, and you see non-personalised ads;
  • until you answer — the decline setting applies.

You can change your mind at any time in Settings. Both networks are also given a content rating: the Game carries a 12+ rating (China 12+, Brazil A14, other regions 12+), and ads unsuitable for that age should not be shown.

4. In-app purchases

If your version of the Game offers the ad-removal purchase, the payment is handled entirely by the app store (AppGallery). The developer never receives or stores card numbers, payment details or your store account data. Only a flag marking the purchase is kept inside the Game.

5. What the Game does not do

  • no analytics of our own: the Game does not track your behaviour, collect gameplay statistics or report them to the developer;
  • no accounts, sign-in or registration;
  • no cloud saves — progress never leaves your device;
  • no access requested to location, camera, microphone, contacts, photos, files or call logs;
  • data is never sold or shared with anyone other than the advertising networks listed in section 3.

6. How to delete your data

  • In the Game: Settings → reset progress. This permanently deletes game progress and run history from the device.
  • Completely: uninstall the app — every file listed in section 2 goes with it.
  • Advertising identifier: reset it in your device settings (privacy or ads section), where you can also limit ad personalisation.

7. Children

The Game is not specifically directed to children: it targets a general audience and carries an official age rating of 12+ based on its content, not on its intended audience. It collects no personally identifying information.

8. Changes to this policy

If the set of services used by the Game changes, this policy will be updated and the date at the top revised. Significant changes will also be noted in the store's release notes.
